Z3 roof leaking or condensation

Hi guys just picked z3 up from mot, and inside the roof theres all beads of water. Now i know its been raining, the car doesnt have the lining so its just the roof canvas, is it condensation or does the roof require water proofing.

Do you have any moisture under the carpets ? You could have a leak somewhere and whilst sat in the sun the moist air has come in contact with the cold roof. A lot of Z3‘s have leaks somewhere, so check the carpet insulation. The top might feel dry where as the insulation lower down will act as a sponge.

I did have the a pillar leak, but have sorted that with some mastic would it be where the carpets still a bit damp

That’s more than likely the issue. You need to get a dehumidifier running to get all that moisture out.
