Can anyone advise the difference between wide body 3.0ltr drive shafts and Wide body 2.2 drive shafts.

In short No.
My parts comparison matrix which has information sourced from RealOEM shows:
2.2 small case diff flanges with LK=103 mm and M10 bolts
2.2 Medium case LSD diff flanges with LK=86 mm and M10 bolts
3.0L medium case diff either open or LSD flanges with LK=94 mm and M10 bolts.
Not sure it LK= the flange diameter or the bolt hole radius?
The 3.0L half shaft shows a 110mm diameter flange.
If your car has a medium sized diff, you can change the flanges as needed. They pop in and out easily.
