Well Ive decided to have a little change in the fleet so i need sell the Z to make room for the new toy.
Well its more of a upgrade.....
So for sale is a 1998 pre facelift wide-boded Z3 2.8
122K on the clock and will come with a years mot
Cars in Arctic silver with red leather. The car is standard apart from the Sharpy induction kit.
Bodywork is pretty good for its year but it is 20 years old now. The front bumper has a few chips , and side sills could do with a bit of a refresh, but it is as that was the next thing to sort if i was keeping the car.
Ive replace front and rear shocks, all rubber bushes including the rear beam bushes and rear drop links.
Coolant , gearbox and rear diff fluids have also been changed so it drives really well.
The car has air con which has just been re gassed.
The lights have been de-tangoed . The hoods electric works as it should, doesn`t leak with no rips or tears.
I waiting for for new rear window to arrive as the beading on this one has broken and keeps lifting
Car comes with factory alarm and 2 keys.
Business radio with boot auto changer.
Roll over hoops
Included in the sale will be hard top with its bag, tonneau cover , roof car cover, and wind deflector.

So for the car and all the bits that come with it i was looking for £3500.
The car is located in Reading Berkshire.

Have you ever used the hardtop bag?

I'm wondering if they are a viable option for storing the top long term hanging in the garage.

It'd take up less space than a stand, but I'm just not sure about the strength of them.

If it's any help I have the OEM hardtop cover which the hardtop is hung up in from the garage joists for 6/7 months of the year. I use the 2 outer hooks to hang it up along with some chain and carabiners. Plenty strong enough.

When I had my 1.9 with a hard top I used the bag to hang it on the wall I remember I had two plastic bungs which fitted in the rear mounting sockets which rested against the wall. The straps took the weight to problem.

Ahhhhh my bad :)

I do like the roads that end of the town. I do the Caversham to Pangbourne trip quite a lot to get to Purley borders.
