Wanted Z3 power steering rack

Hi all, I’m looking for a good power steering rack for a 2001 Z3 3.0i roadster.
Now I’m not sure if all Z3 racks are the same or if they differ with engine size.
I don’t need any inner or outer tie rods, just the basic rack.
North East area would be ideal.

Worth a look on eBay for refurb units. I’ve seen some very reasonable price stuff with excellent feedback.

I wish I could Mescalero, but the rack is actually broken around the mounting hole so I don’t think any refurb company would accept it in exchange

Yeah I got mine from Ebay, you pay the full £300 upfront and when you remove your old rack you ring the number on the paperwork to arrange collection of your old rack, once they receive it you get your £150 back. All done and dusted in 5 days.

Lee, our rack is damaged so I don’t think they would accept it in exchange.

I wouldn't worry then. Will likely cost you near on £300.

Whereabouts are you. I have 2 spare racks that should be good to go. But I’m only doing distanced pickups currently.

if you don’t get fixed up you could try a friendly breaker I know in fleetwood, they would post and theres no surcharge his name is Greig, 07973 186399.
have the ZF number ready off the metal plate on the rack if you can still make out the numbers. It will make it easier to identify.

I’m up in the north east (Teesside) about half way between York and Newcastle.
Nearest large towns are Stockton or Middlesbough
