Hi,

I post this link not for buying cars. I neither endorse or disapprove of this site for buying cars as I have no experience of them. The reason I post the link, is this site has high quality pictures of the Z3 it sells. In particular, loads of engine bay and photographs of underneath of the car. This can be a useful reference when rebuilding or troubleshooting an issue on your own car.

As a little game, don't look at the mileage but view the photographs first and see can you guess what the miles are based on the condition of parts in the photos.
What parts in the interior, engine bay, underneath, boot help you guess the mileage.??

I know you can check the wear on the seat, steering wheel etc but theses can be hard to see in photographs. If you look at how dirty the heat shields are, they can indicate if it has high mileage but then again these can be cleaned.

Definitely a great lesson for any seller out there, nice detailed pictures that, while they don't tell the full story, they definitely help you to form a more educated guess on the overall condition of the car.

Drives me nuts when people try to sell anything with a random picture where the item for sell is just on a blury background or taken on a holiday or something. Take 5 minutes and take a million pictures, we all have pretty capable cameras in our pockets, there's really no excuses.

Totally agree. People research online before they purchase, if you have nothing to hide, then use lots of images to showcase what you are trying to sell…
