It's a facelift (rather than widebody) taillight you need. Clear or amber? Clear if Sport per factory.

These guys are the 2 main breakers on the forum and may be able to help you with your lamp ,blanks and gear knob ( illuminated one only fitted to sport and m models )
The cup holder will be a different story discontinued from dealer and not common zed fitted they do appear on the Internet from time to time ( usually in USA ) and generally quite expensive for what it is.

Yep, expected this to be the case, might opt for something aftermarket if impossible, but would come in very handy for some tours when Desmond 2.2 is fixed up and ready!

If you see one somewhere and the price is right don't dilly dally as it won't stay for sale for long get snapped up rapidly as desired part as majority of UK cars came with smokers package ( cigar lighter and ashtray)

You will very lucky to find a good second hand illuminated 5 speed gear knob, they were standard only on the Z3M they are available new on the net circa £150 and were fitted to other BMW models so you may find one cheap and tatty.

And how much should I expect to pay? Seems like £100ish from what I can see online! Quite the expensive thirst
I have one I paid half that for, complete with pad, which I’ve never seen before.

Problem is, I have no idea where I’ve put it at the moment. No longer of any use, I’ve chopped my console up for built in cup holders.
If you can give me a week or so, I’ll find it.

For reference to anyone else looking, having spoken to Sopers, a new illuminated gear stick is £96+VAT, which was much less than I was expecting.
BMW no longer stock the chrome ones but seems like a few sellers on eBay listing them around the £75 mark claiming OEM and new.
The switch blanks come to £5.50+Vat each, well below what I was being quoted by breakers for used parts.

Would be interested if you do have it, I was beginning to give up on that idea and consider building something bespoke if it was looking unlikely to find;)

Leatherz armrest, I just installed one in place of the cassette storage. Expensive but worth every penny

I definitely have it, I know where the pad bit is as I was trying that in my modified console. The actual cup bit is in one of a mountain of boxes, give me a few days and I’ll find it.

Facelift Sport as well. But they’re mostly knackered. So new is a good option.

I fitted Leather Zee armrest and door armrest pads in my Z4. Excellent items I would highly recommend.
