SOLD Z3 Nearside Mirror

The mirror is in excellent condition with just a tiny bit of corrosion on the stem. I can't tell if it folds as I haven't tried.

However, the actual casing of the mirror could do with some attention as the little holders that the screws will screw into are all missing. This is reflected in the price.

£80 ONO.

I have seen these on eBay selling for well over £100, so I think this is a very reasonable price. I'll list it on here before chucking it on eBay in a week or so.

@Low Rider That's very true Steve, what mostly breaks in our zed mirrors is the stem and the stem of this mirror is completely intact.

@oldcarman I have read about Ashley on here a couple of times, what happened to him was truly very sad.

I'm really sorry but the mirror sold just over a week ago.

I do have several e36 mirrors lying in the shed which I believe have the same internals (motor) as the z3 has. I'm more than happy to sent the motor to you if you like?

Thanks Faheem, I'll keep that in mind, all I really need is the swivel tube and the spring retainer. But if I fail I'll let you know. Someone if I recall fixed the problem with a nut and bolt system some time back but I haven't been able to find the post. It took me close to a year to separate the base and stem and unfortunetly the tube pretty much dissolved in the solution after its time there.
Ash was a wealth of knowledge and very generous to me and I truly miss his company on here. JIM
