Hi friends! On my previous z3 m52b28tu i had the blowing mechanical fan plastic vents 2 times so i had an idea to replace it with fat mishimoto radiator and slim mishimoto electric fan.
I have already bought and received:
1) X-Line Performance Aluminum Radiator, fits BMW Z3
2) Mishimoto Curved Blade Electric Fan 12"
3) Mishimoto Adjustable Fan Controller Kit
4) Fan mounting kit

May be someone already installed xline performance radiator and will share some experience with me and all of us please?

My questions:

1) X-line radiator is thicker then stock, so I'm afraid that the stock radiator hoses will be displaced and bent and they will need to be modified, and I'm afraid that it won't just require chopping them, and I wouldn't want to combine and use adapters. How can i solve it?
2) due xline is thicker - the stock fan surround will not fit. Mishimoto website does not offer any fan surrounds for bmw z3 xline performance radiator, but there is many similar parts, may be some one retrofitted any other mishimoto fan surrounds ?
3) whit parts did you use to delete mechanical fan? Belts , pulleys etc
4) may be you have any advises for me?

I just had the bearing fail on the 12" mishimoto fan on my s50'ed e30, its not really seen much miles, maybe 5k to 10k . It would seem that spal fans are a better quality part. I plan on going the spal route as a replacement. The mishi stuff does have lifetime warranty but I'd rather not have the hassle.
