Hello Folks,

Just joined and im hoping I can stay. Ive a Z3 2.8 1998 manual. 89k on the clock.

I got the car in November but ive never driven it! A friend has driven it a fair bit.
Ive only ever sat in it twice!

The reason is its having a re-body in the style of a 1960's high end sports car. You have probably seen these already.

This was my car last year.

Thanks guys, I have a few build pics. I was going to do it myself, but feared id get half way through and end up working away and it would end up sitting on the drive with a cover half done and me with no roadster.

I decided to get the build done for me and spend the time earning money.

This is the strip down.

Part of me hated the fact I was using such a clean example for my build and ruin a perfectly good Z3. However, I also wanted it to be a great platform to build on as id be sinking a considerable sum into the project, so finding a great example but not too expensive was optimal.

I should probably create a build thread.

Cheers for you interest.
