Hi guys, is a z3 now classed as a classic regarding car insurance? Is so any recommendations?

Yes, mine is with Lancaster but I have used others in the past, Classic Line are good.

All depends on the insurance company, some will and some won’t.
All I can suggest is to get as many quotes as possible then decide from there.

It is considered classic by some insurers, but there is normally a mileage limit and restrictions about where it’s kept. With my last renewal, the hard limit on mileage was 7.5k and there could be no agreed value unless it was parked off the street.

Try Peter James insurance..Mine is insured as a classic with unlimited mileage and European breakdown cover incl...Its garaged

I went through Adrian Flux (broker) this year but both my Z3s are insured by Markerstudy. Both limited mileage and agreed value. Slight discount for being a member on here too. Premiums are peanuts compared to the last renewal quote for my Merc

I always go with adrian flux for anything modified the insurance on my ev conversion came down with them this year to about £360

adrian flux limited mileage cheap as chips

Adrian Flux is only a broker remember.. .. both my zeds and my 17 year olds VW insurance are all insured by a company called Markerstudy, even though I actually used 3 different brokers.

Footman James have been excellent for me over 8 years.

With you there Andyboy, Just moved to Footman James and got a good price to cover my Porsche and my Z3 under a 'Flex' policy. No mileage limits, has Euro cover, no silly restrictions. Policy is through Ageas.
