Your a braver man than i Sean .
I looked at doing that to lynne's zed then i watched a couple of videos then changed my mind .
Changing the whole roof with frame looks pretty straight forward but putting a new mohair onto the frame looks much harder .
But bodywork stuff is your field Sean wheras mine is more mechanical so probably wont phase you too much .

Me and @spurs fan in a coupe fitted mine mate. Really messy with having to strip the mastic off but other than that it wasn't to bad. Buy it with a window in though.

I've done two, not nice, but not too bad, very time consuming and dirty job!

I’m not sure I fancy changing the fabric only.

But I’ve done a complete roof swap recently and apart from damaging the paint on the wing it went well. I spent about 6 hours doing it but most of that was cleaning all the old butyl off. Well the kids did most of that to be fair.

I wanted to do the swap to put a navy roof on my Titan Silver. It certainly makes it look more pretty.
