Not sure what's up here... just bought a Z3 and was looking for hardtop fitting instructions. Followed the links and got this :

I had this problem along with my driverside window getting suck on the way down so I took the z3 to BMW under warranty. They re adjusted the hardtop mounts and installed a new window regulator. The dealership fixed the window regulator under warranty but charged me £78 to adjust the hardtop.
