The Zed failed it's MOT earlier in the week due to it being virtually useless. Thought it sensible to change the whole rear braking system, as it was on the plan for this year anyway.

Nothing fancy, just Pagid kit bought from Eurocarparts for the reasonable price of £101.50 with their "Parts25" discount code.

So, today's mission in between rain spells is... rear discs, pads, shoes and sensor.

Clearly didn't read what I typed #-o What I meant was the hand brake was virtually useless!

Has anyone changed theirs before, because it's a painful process. The mechanism which attaches the handbrake cable to the mechanism in the hub is a stupid design. Got the work done, just took a lot longer to complete than it should.

Old discs were in bad condition...

I did mine a while back, the internal adjuster can be a bit of a pain to locate. I found popping the springs back on the hardest part, fiddley little suckers ~x(

Well done, you can do handbrake turns now :D

Not even a little donut? :nearmiss)
