Hi,

Fairly new to the forums so apologies if this is in the wrong place but does anyone know of a supplier for Z3 Door Cards other than Ebay?

My driver's side card was knackered by the previous owner and have been trying to repair it but am worries it is beyond help!

Cheers,

Al.

I have a number of different door cards at the moment. Can you send me a PM with a description or picture of which one you want please.
Thanks for the quick response folks!

I'm in need of the driver's side of the attached including the door pull as both are damaged. It's a fairly plain black leather with no pattern detail if that helps...happy ro provide better pics if needed.

If they've got little in the way of pattern/embossing they're probably Classic leather. I'd expect you to have matching leather on the seats which I'd expect to be Sport seats as I've only even seen Classic used for them.

They are surprisingly difficult to turn up. It's usually Oregon (pimples) that float around and that's all I've got. Sometimes Chameleon. But you'd know if you had either I think as they are both distinctive.

You can check for sure here if you put the last 7 digits of your VIN in. Look for the Upholstery line.

If the door cards are salvageable you could just swap the hand pulls over for ones that are good.

Thank, the upholstery line shows;
"Upholstery STOFF OP ARTANTHRAZIT (H1AT)"

What ever that means!?!? o_O

I can probably salvage the door card with some creative use of fibre board but the door pull is shot to pieces.

Do you happen to have one available?

It means your car was built with matching fabric seats and door card inserts. Not leather.

So either a previous owner has switched for original factory Z3 leather items. Or they have had things re-trimmed. If it's the latter you're not going to find a door card with an insert to match as it was a one-off.

I only have complete door cards. No spare handles. Very rare to find handles on their own. Everyone wants them to sell as part of a complete door card.

OK, thanks for the info and I thought that as much regarding the handle. Looks like it's a door pull from ebay then.

Cheers,

Al.
