Been watching Car SOS today, and they did a 1985 Metro 6R4 Rally Car.
Had a problem sourcing the front diff, so ended up using a Z3 diff , put in backwards at the front of the car
Apparently the same ratio.

The finished car.

We waited the whole of lockdown for the unveil. I think it was worth it. Lots of inside knowledge on Pistonheads, but little actual information. IIRC, the guy who did the dashboard said it took about 100 hours to wire up, and barely got a mention.

Probably their best build.

God I love a 6R4! Takes me back to the days of watching the Group B cars in the Lombard Rally in wet, cold forests in November.

Shame so many lost their lives to ban them!

The RS200 and Audi S1 were my favs, though.
