One for the re-bodiers (or maybe not).
I have a new billet aluminium gear lever for the Z3 (it may fit other models). CNC machined. 150mm total length. 50mm heavy round knob. Without any cutting, once fitted it will be around 70mm higher than the standard BMW knob.
It has an M14 female thread so as it is, the car lever will need threading. However, I would drill out the thread with a 14mm bit, then the lever will fit snugly over the existing lever and could be lightly glued into position (or tap a couple of grub screws into the shaft). It is unpolished so has a 'brushed' look. Would easily polish up to be shiny.
I received this as part of a 'package' of parts for my car, but I am going with a more traditional lever, so this is gathering dust. It is brand new and never been fitted.
I am looking for around £30 plus postage or collection from Spalding, Lincs.
