Yes, the name comes from the cafe overlooking the airfield at Cotswold Airport. The sequence of events is basically:
Drive out to the Cotswolds
Have breakfast at the cafe if you want to (not really part of the meet up)
Park up with other Z3’s with a 747 as a backdrop
Drive in convoy to Classic Motor Hub in time for lunch, or take a picnic because the food is a bit dear there.
There is no cost. It’s organised by a guy on Facebook.

What Three Words location the cars usually assemble is: ///cake.plump.shovels, or follow signs to AV8 cafe.

It's in the diary anyway.

I expect to be wandering around feeling jealous of everybody elses car

You shouldn't. You have no idea how jealous they may be of yours.

Tony.

Weather in Gloucestershire shocking today, hope it clears before the weekend. Don't want to arrive like a 'roof up w@nker'. :D

This is going to be my first AV8 club meet, so I'm not sure what time you tend to knock it on the head and go your separate ways, however I'm planning on mosying over to Diddly Squat Farm before I head back up north. Anyone else will be welcome to tag along. It's quite a long way to go for me to just visit a farm shop, so it seems a good opportunity while I'm in that neck of the woods.

I am optimistically hoping that with nice-ish weather, the FA Cup final and Monaco GP qualifying it might be quieter than it would normally be on a Saturday afternoon. Hope springs eternal, and all that...

Hiya, John_B - went over to Diddly Squat last year and personally, I would not bother. Parking was atrocious, almost 2 hour wait to get into the shop, to find very little of interest. The actual shop is about the size of my garage. A lot of hype, but hard to recommend and I am a Clarkson fan.

To your question about timings, there is no hard and fast guideline, people move over to the Motor Hub and hang around for a while then break up and go their ways. All very informal.
