Z3 3.0i fuel pump recommendation

I am looking to replace my fuel pump as its potentially soft failing (as discussed on a different thread about lean fuel codes)

Anyway can anyone suggest where would be best to order one for a 02 plate Z3 3.0i ?

Is a pierburg one doable? I heard when I had my z3 coupe they were the one equivalent

I'm struggling to know what to get as everything seems to look different

Where are you located? You can use autodoc and several to compair prices and makers. Most recognisable brand names are good.

Just a quick google on flea bay and you can get Magneti Marelli for 35 pounds and Pierberg for 163. Both are known brands but thats a big price differnce. Peirburg are the original brand from what I understand but it just depends on how much you want to spend.

If you pay too much you lose a little; if you pay too little you may likely lose everything! I would by an OEM one, that should last another 20 years!
