Z3 2001 rear plastic window replacement

Good morning all,
So far I have used forum advice to purchase a new rear window kit from art Munster in Germany.
I’m ready to fit and having read up on fitting advice, it’s a two person task.
Before I grab a helper, I thought it would be wise to see if there is any Z3 guru’s in my area who I might be able to offer guidance?
I’m just south of Stratford upon Avon

Hi Jules, I had an issue with my zip in window, spoke to STCS in Coventry, took it over they fitted it, stitched it and glued it for £60, they were really helpful, just in case you struggle. Pete

I have never had to do it but understand that best to take seats out

Taking the seats out is more work then replacing the window!

No need to take the seats out, they fitted mine with my partner sat in the passenger seat.

Tried to do mine on my own and failed. I made a big mistake - I was having trouble with the zipper and tried putting a little light oil on it all the way around. Because of the tension on the window the teeth would then pull apart. I'd get the bottom started, start up the side, look back and the teeth in the corner would have separated. I spent a day getting 1/2 way, 2/3 of the way, or even 3/4 of the way around and then it would separate somewhere behind me. Ended up taking it to a local upholstery shop.

Does anyone know if there's somewhere 'up north' Lancashire preferably. My window zip has come undone in places the more I try the worse it gets!

Coventry's up north isn't?
