SOLD Z3 1999 1.9 'T' reg 55k miles

Due to a change in circumstances I am putting the Z3 on the market (need something a little larger).

Just coming up to 55000 miles. Palmetto Green Metallic. Handbook / service book etc. plus a number of receipts. A previous owner has fitted a Kenwood DAB radio. MoT due in late July.

Good bits - NSR wing and cover sills have been replaced. Hood/rear window in good condition. Tyres have only a few thousand miles use (probably new when I bought the car last year).

Not so good bits - OSR wing is showing some rust (no idea why it wasn't replaced at the same time as the other side). Air bag light on since niece was in the passenger seat. As there is no passenger air bag (optional) I have a resistor to fit to the wiring loom, but waiting for some decent weather to get the seat out.

Overall the car is in good condition and I will miss it. Looking for £1750

Avoid the diesel variants of those later Volvos unless low mileage, they can be very problematic.

I know, I had trouble with a 1.6 PSA in a C30 a couple of years ago - hence V40 comment.
My Indie refused to attempt a heater plug change as he'd broken one some months earlier trying to remove a plug.

If I get a chance over the weekend (but I have a lot on) will sort the seat sensor issue.
Aerial grommet is done.
Will open this up to sensible offers. It has had one viewing early April. Mileage is now just over 55k.

Yes, I love the colour too. Unfortunately, I can't keep three and the "everyday" car needs to be larger.
It will be a real downer when the Morgan goes on the market.

I found when I was looking that very few decent zs come up for sale as you head North, however there are a shed load that come up down south.

Something that all the Buyer's Guides recommend against.
However I'm happy for a drive out to a central location - so long as we're not in some city. A local attraction, National Trust etc. would suit me.

Glass's Guide puts this at over £1600 trade in value at 55,200 miles. Just sayin'!
