looking for a strut brace for my 97 z3 1.9 4 cyl

Good luck with that, there are never any for sale at reasonable prices! I've been looking for 2 1/2 yrs and find I may as well buy a new one as the used are very close in price. You can get a used one for £30 approx for any six cyl. but 4cyl used are £100+ and you can buy new for around £130! But, you may get a positive response from someone hopefully!! JIM

Not sure if the e36 318ti compact is the same if so theres one on gumtree for £40...

Hi Paul wasn't trying to discourage you just point out the facts and the discrepancy between the pricing between used 4 and 6 cyl models and what they sell for used as opposed to new. Check out the one @Antm72 has posted. Sounds like a bargain. I'm looking to get something with four contact points for complete stability rather than just the two at the towers. Good luck! JIM
