Hey all!

Currently going to be requiring a new Axle and Rear Hub assembly soon for my 97' Z3 M44 Manual. Is the Compact 1.9L axle and hub the same? They are much more common in Australia therefore easier for me to find :)

Cheers!

I know this is a month old, but I'm doing the opposite swap. I'm putting a narrow body Z3 rear axle into my 1.6 compact as it only has drum brakes. The axle carrier and arms are the same. The braking system is different though. The discs, pads, calipers and handbrake cables are different.

The pads and caliper carriers are the same. Comparing Z3 1.9 and Compact hubs - no obvious difference but different part number. The driveshafts are the same but the calipers - whilst looking the same have a different part number. I suspect the piston is a different size.
