Wanted Z3 '02 airbag ring

As title.

Looking for an airbag ring for my '02 2.2 sport, as I thing the existing ring has met its maker.

I have a pre-facelift slip-ring (which is the same for M Sport or regular wheel). And I have a facelift slip-ring for a regular wheel.

But the facelift M Sport slip ring is different again. Looking at realoem it's not a common part on other BMWs either.

The part number is 32302229488 and there's a couple available on ebay from Germany currently for £65. But you shouldn't have to pay that much for one.

Hey @Craig Giblett what is the part number in the existing one? I'll check what I have around.

What is wrong with it? It is approx 6turns from lock to lock so to centre it again you just turn gently to the end and then back again 2,5 - turns to be back to centre (so this without it being on the wheel so you can feel when it's close to the end of its travel).

Morning all.

That looks like the part.

Problem appears to be that I can't get the airbag warning light to reset as keeps coming up with an error code relating to voltage.

Now when I did take the old wheel off the airbag ring did come apart.... I put it back together as best I could but I've a feeling it's knackered!
