Good morning and thanks for the welcome.
I have a Z1 since 1990 with which I have done a few kilometers, it is practically new.
The ABS warning light has been on for 2 years.
I took the car to two BMW workshops and they could not solve the problem; I wrote to BMW in Italy and in Munchen and they told me that it is probably the central unit's fault.
I bought a new (expensive!) central unit but the problem was not solved.
Now it's back in the BMW workshop, now they tell me it's the fault of the wheels ABS sensors , but they can not ask for new parts because not found the codes. It seem that are no longer available.
It seems that nobody, not even in Germany can help me to found the codes.
On the internet I found (perhaps) the code of the front right (34 52117892), it seems that all four are different and the rear ones are hard to find.
Please someone has these codes? Does anyone have a suggestion to give me?
Thanks to those who can help me.

Can’t find any reference to rear sensors. It seems the parts are common with the E30 though.

I wouldn’t think that Z1 sensors are specific to that model only - it’s probably e30 or e36 parts.
Can you get a part number off the actual sensor on the car?

Sensors are very common to go on the older car but not the central ABS unit - the newer ABS unit as found on the ‘99 TU cars is the type of unit that fails a lot (like it does in VAG cars as it’s the same, think it’s Bosch)

Thanks for the reply.
The central unit is specific to the model. Infact, thinking it was broken, I bought a new one (yes, it's Bosch like all the sensors).
The sensors are also mounted on other machines, I saw that, for example, the front right is mounted on the 635.
But the only one that is still on the market is the front right: the left is no longer (and when it was still was much more expensive, it cost almost double). Of the two front I have the Bosch number, but I know nothing of the rear.

My hope is precisely that someone knows in which other machine they are mounted and the Bosch number.

Thanks again and happy Sunday!
