Announcement Your 2016 Picture of the Year!

Frankie is supplying us with a plaque for the 2016 Picture of thr Year competition. In previous years I have selected the final images from the monthly Picture competitions, but I've not had chance to run them. Been thinking the last few days how best to select the final shortlist, and then thought what better way than to get you guys to select them.

So, here's how it's going to run... choose your single favourite picture that someone else has posted this year and add it to this thread. Don't submit your own pictures as they will be ignored.

Have a look through the media gallery section and the Z Gallery forum. Just post a link, or if you are clever enough a copy of the image. I'll leave this thread running for a week or so, and run the comp around Christmas time.

I'll then create a poll with the top commented/liked pictures, most voted for will be the winner!

wow - What a difficult choice!
The December calendar image is a strong contender (I'm sure we'd all love to have a crack at that), but, my choice is one that didn't make it to the calendar only because we couldn't get the quality good enough to be be printed - It's Ant's (@Antm72) Summer Tones (it's also his signature image).

There have been some great pictures posted on here this year again, so many to choose from but here is my choice, just one from a selection posted by Adam1990 from a day out at Bedford Autodrome with his dad. I like the way you can see daylight under the nearside rear wheel in this particular shot.
