Both 90's cars for me the first being Alpina B10 3.2, based on E39 5 series which is already sat on the driveway.
Second being Alpina B12, based on E38 7 series which I wish was sat on the driveway.

That video of @bruce&kim got me thinking again about the 959... It's oddly stunning despite it's big ass. I loved it when it came out but I'm not a Porsche admirer in the slightest

Then I found this picture of chalk and cheese. Yes please!

I ached for one of these but never got round to owning one, I did own the Gen 6 version and loved her to bits, been thinking of buying another to use as daily drive.. Still a stunning looking car...

Keon,

Sorry but the title for this thread says your "FAV" cars not your "dream" cars 2 completely different things.

Also some people may already own their dream car.

I posted my dream cars?

I actually owned fords and pugs, never had the cash to get what I really wanted, and when i did the price had gone up!

Since this thread was started I've been deliberating which were my favourites. Tricky as do you go for what you'd dreamed of owning or actually what you owned?

Both of these cars I owned and loved in the 80's. The 205 GTi as it was the most fun I've ever had with my trousers on. My commute to work was 16 miles of heaven. Never a day went by without me doing 100mph. The Porsche represents time when I was young and had a pound in my pocket. It was a step in my life that has very fond memories.

The 90's and cars I don't care to remember as they were filled with childrens car seats and under powered estate cars. I think my lawn mower at the time had as much bhp as my car!... Oh how I was brought back down to earth!!!!!

Happy days!

:-)

Torn between the F1 and a lambo

A friend had one of these and it was amazing, I wasn't old enough to drive but enjoyed being a passenger on quite a few trips. Roundabouts generally consisted of my face squashed against the window with the amount of grip it had.

I loved this car but had to sell it in the mid 90's as my boss in Aberdeen did not see it as fitting transport to turned up with at customer visits.....!!!! (they were oil companies and they loved the car) I was then given a company car, pile of French carp.......

If my boss told me something like that - I would tell him/her to stuff it! It's my money - and my back.

I was too young to have a car in the eighties but favorite 90'ies car: Citroën XM and Range Rover P38... wonder why huh' At then I actually didn't like the Z3 at all :shy:...

Was the XM the one with the foot operated parking brake and the pneumatic suspension? Think we had one of those on our company car fleet, before everyone started gettin Xantia's.

Yup GazHyde
Had a 1990 2.0 122 injection Prestige (some years ago - drove 170.ooo km in 3½ years - best car ever!!!

Am I going to buy one again - You bet!!

Though the next will be a 3.0 V6 Automatic - in white, but with the rear spoiler and side miror from the mk. 1:

Just between you and me... I love the Citroën XM - I've godt every brochure ever made.... and a brand new left sidemirror just waiting for the the to show up....... Hey, who yelled freak back there ??!!

Piece of French junk. The French make a three piece suite and then think, oh, we have to build a car around this.
The Germans build a car and then think, oh, we had better put some seats in it..................

PThe French make a three piece suite and then think, oh, we have to build a car around this.
In which case they aren't any good at making furniture because I've never driven a comfortable French car. By that I mean driving position... my old Laguna (before it fell apart) was one of the most uncomfortable cars I've ever driven

I had one of those as a company car. The seats were awful, like sitting on an old sofa. I prefer hard car seats, they keep you awake,,,,,,
