Yet another seat question

Without checking every part number it's seems to me from realoem that m roadster seats and z seats share all parts apart from foam, plastic backs and covering. This would make production line sense.

My thinking therefore was that converting from z to m seats should be a matter or ordering the cushions and backs which seem priced ok and having them covered.

Anyone tried this or have comments?

Good thinking.

I looked at customising ‘sport seats’ and wanted to go for alcantara to hold you in better than leather.

A good old fashioned upholster can build up the foam how you like so make it as ‘deep’ as you like and get unique ‘fitted’ seat just for you.

Totally agree about alcantara. Leather has no place in a sports car.... way too slippery in the bends!
