Yesterday's little horror

I saw this on a Vauxhall Corsa in for test yesterday. After testing cars for 40+ years this is the first time I have seen this.

The eye on the O/S end of the front anti-roll bar has sheared in two, leaving the drop link free to move around and jam up with other suspension components.

Not just in your country @ Lazzzydog! We find those in Canada also. Usually wrapped around some innocent persons car. JIM

How old is that car?

52 plate. It looks as though it has been run with the Nye loose for some time in the past which elongated the hole.
Also had been welded.
