I agree with the Cat, It's in front of the tree in the second shot. reflection of something in the car or on the dash maybe...

It called a chromatic aberration. Comes from taking a photo with the sun in it. The lens can't handle all of the light and you get smudges and dots on the photos.

Notice how it's always 180 degrees offset from the position of the sun around the centre of the image (subject to cropping)?

Years ago I spent a whole evening carefully editing one of these out of a photo from Yosemite before we sent the image to be printed on a canvas. Got the canvas back and the colours were so dark I might as well have just put a black circle over it with MS Paint and you'd not have been able to tell the difference
