Some little scrote tried to steal my antenna the other night and unfortunately in the process broke the Antenna Base, (the bit that holds the electrics) on the inside of the wing.

I'm going to try and fix my one, but the omens aren't looking good. :(

Anybody selling one, or know someone who is selling one?

I had the same problem, glued it back together but the internals were broken.
I got a replacement from a breaker, many breakers are on national setups where you
post what you need and a breaker contacts you with an offer.
Not too hard to change but fiddly. Good luck.

I agree, no punishment bad enough for these people. What I'm really p***d about is the antenna is only worth about £10 as it was a second hand S2000 one from ebay, would have been better if they had just taken the thing!
Also not more than 20ft away is exactly the same antenna on my wifes Civic, but they seem to have left that one alone...?

Got the same problem as you Zedona, managed to fix the broken plastic bit with some epoxy putty stuff, but now got to make the electrical connection. Have a cunning plan, but don't know if it will work..fingers crossed..... :YMPRAY:

Probably the same b****** that did mine a month ago. Managed to get one from a breaker eventually £20 posted. They are not easy to come by. It is the same base as used on the E36 ragtop so that widens your search. Put a new grommet in while you`re at it, finishes it off nicely. Good luck.

Thanks for the info, will be very useful if my intended fix doesn't work, which I think is about 50/50 at the moment.
