Browsing a certain internet auction site I came across a price list & accessories brochure dated October 1999 for the 1.8, 2.0 & 2.8 models. As my car was built September 1999 and registered January 2000 I just had to have that as I had no idea of the cost of the various Z3 models back in the day.

So, what would my 1.8 have cost with the options it has fitted?

Very interesting. I don’t have the original bill of sale, but I have a receipt for the sale of my 2.2 for £16,000.00 in January 2003 (at less than 20k miles) and £6,995 in October 2009 (at 77k miles).
