Hi .
Was wondering if anyone knows where to get hold of workshop manuals, I have found a place in America that does disc format, but doesn't seem to cover a lot of topics.
I have always preferred the book type to be honest. Just wondering if they are out there !.

For which Zed ? For a Z3 there is really only one which is published by Bentley. They seem to go for between £50-£100 in the UK ..maybe cheaper in the US. Whilst it’s a nice to have I find this forum and You Tube more helpful.

Hi ant .
It's the 2.0 ltr six pot.

The Bentley manual is hideously expensive in the UK. I paid £97 delivered for mine.
Not the best manual IMO, as it is an American publication for their market and their specs are quite a lot different to ours. The pictures are generally not good and difficult to decipher.
Not sure if the 2.0l is an M54, or M52. If it isn't either, then that engine is not covered in the book.

The book is not a patch on a Haynes, but they don't do one specifically for the Z3, only the the 3 series of the same vintage.

I agree ..it’s a nice coffee table talking point but I’ve not actually used it yet

2.0 is M52TUB. Bentley manual only covers LHD US models so 2.0 isn't in there, but the 2.8 M52TUB is, which is more or less identical to the 2.0 aside from the block, crank, pistons etc.

Yes they are expensive but they have a good resale value.

It’s also very big and heavy..useful if you need to stop something moving or have a door you want to keep open 😉

I can think of many door stops for less than £100. ;)

I bought one when I first got my Z3. £60 new
it’s ok … but for left … think right and you have to translate into proper English from American

a good starting point… but better and more detailed info comes from the forum members.
