On the 10th May ........
My family and myself do a charity bike ride in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance
It called ....... Beccles cycle for life
We're done it for the last 7 years
Just words of encouragement needed to support our family and the rest of the people that have entered to take part this year .......
Last year was a wash out but we still took part but got soaked through........
Hopefully the sun will shine for us this year
This is the only time I ride my bike ,but I should really go out and practice first

Your poor neglected bike,only getting a ride once a year I bet it's feeling a bit flat , you need to pump it and remember to use plenty of lube!Start off gently and then you build your speed up

I'm also a supporter of the air ambulance - ive had a couple of friends who needed it after horse riding accidents. Very good luck to you all and i hope you dont ache too much the day after! Be good to see some pics of you all on ya bikes

Yes will post some pictures , some were taken the years before last by a photographer, were quite good photos , none we taken last year as it was raining too hard

Well done for supporting such a great cause. We support the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. We bought new bikes two years ago but I have only been out a couple of times. I am just too scared of the traffic and we don't have time to load them onto the car and go somewhere safer.

Ditto for the Lincs. Air Ambulance, we had a very close encounter a couple of years ago. There was a nasty car accident at a junction 400 yds. from our house and the Ambucopter landed in the field next door. Made one hell of a mess of our garden though.

Great stuff Shelly I applaud you.
Tbh its one of our fav charities and we always donate to it .
But its also one of our biggest gripes that this should be gov funded as they do a terrific job.
Stop sending money abroad an support our own .
Rant over.

It's a great thing to support,our local air ambulance is only here because of donations.Our daughter had to fly in one to Swansea it took 20 mins,it would of taken over 2 hours on the roads.good for you! Ride hard
