You just need the fitting kit. Mine came with a storage bag too but you don't need it really

Fitting kit @FRANKIE and if you want to use the heated rear window, you will need the cables and the switch.
Personally, I would not bother about the heated rear window, had it on mine and never used it, as my wind deflector was always on the car and you have heated wing mirrors.

Do I have to, and am I able to remove the fitting kit, or must I purchase a new one? Frankie

highly doubtful it's got a fitting kit but if it does they sell for nearly as much as the HT. If you can get the kit, wiring, switch and top for a reasonable price get it all. Don't forget the two front top bolts as they are somewhat hard to come by although plain torx or Allenhead can be used. They're pretty expensive that's why I bought both mine in the UK where they're plentiful, in fact @David has HT's old top for sale! Good luck! JIM

The OEM Fitting Kit comes off with the undoing on each side of 1 bolt for the trim, 2 bolts and one nut for the kit (but the nut needs to go back on the car once kit is removed as it holds the soft top frame down - you'll have this nut already on your car, so no need to take it with you.)

All the best,
David

If the hardtop is on the car as in the photo in your first thread it must have the fitting kit. You will need at least the brackets and screws visible in the photo below although the plastic covers are not essential:
