Hi All,

I am another fool easily parted from his money and going to build a fake Italian 250 on my Z3 3.0.

I wish to have the engine rebuilt, upgraded internally and turbo/supercharged. I am looking for recommendations on someone to do this work please.

Why not do a manifold swap like MisterP007? Big bang for small bucks.

I would suggest building the car, running it unpainted to let it all settle and then paint. Any performance/interior parts can be fitted while it is all "settling".

Be aware that there are some real crooks out there so do ask other forum members if you are unsure.
I am trying to help someone at the moment who has been totally ripped off, again neither buyer or seller is on the forum.

You need to perform a lot of due diligence with kit cars. Impulse buys lead to buying twice, or spending a lot of time correcting your mistake.

Even "designed" modifications need (a lot of) fettling to make them work. Ask me how I know? =))
