So which wipers are everyone using?
I believe I have Bosch Aero or something (they are the thicker type like on 'modern' cars). They work very well BUT at motorway speed or heavy wind they lift a bit not giving a good wipe.
So whilst they still wipe well at low speed I want to change for something that works at speed/high wind.
Anyone had the same issue?

Had that happening and went to ones with a wind wing which glues the blade to the windshield. Let me know if you can't find them in the UK, I can mail you a pair. JIM

I have no problems with Bosch Aero lifting. Does it happen on both sides? Are the actual springs in the wiper arms in good condition?

OEM, but have never gone over 625 KPH to see if the wind will lift 'em. :)

Well good to hear others are not having lifting issues with these.
Not sure if it's both, will check if it's both or one.
I guess the spring is ok but will lift it and see how tense it is...
Also just thought to check if they on the right way around, they have no spoilers but could be asymmetrical.

You might be amazed at the amount of cars I see with the blades with spoilers fitted the wrong way ie above the blade.

Tony.

Just an update to say put new wipers on but not driven at speed in the rain yet.
Thought I had fresh wipers already but they were 3yrs old. Some sort of Goodyear aero wiper, quite hefty and still hand spring in them.
Wiper arm seems as easy as our other cars to lift so not sure on that.

Will advise once I've used them properly.

Got a great deal at Eurocarparts website in the Bosch Aero, half the price of Halfords.

Solution: slow down and use wipers only when raining - water helps them stick to the windscreen! Happy new year!
