Wiper motor only works on fast speed

One of those tales where when changing old with new it makes sense to inspect absolutely everything for things to transfer, it´s happened to me a few times with radiator brackets etc, first time I see it on a wiring loom but hey there´s always a first for something glad to see you got it sorted now it should be a walk in the park for the rest now.

I've removed the headlight washer motor and wiring from my kit car, but I don't recall this problem - I'm sure that I checked the wipers worked and cycled through all the electrics. The car is down south getting a new dress, so I can't check.

Do you have the part number for the jumper, in case I need it?

Well here’s the strange thing and I didn’t initially post this to keep the fix clear cut. But my 3.0 works perfectly happy without the jumper. It does have the headlamp washer system but it’s not physically installed so no motor connected. In theory you’d think it would therefore still have the issue. But it doesn’t. Will have to pass on why! Yours may be the same.

I have a problem with my wipers. They only operate as if they car isn't moving. I used a jumper wire and it made no difference, so these cars seem to have their own individuality :) .

there seems to be a wire that tells the CCM when the car is moving or not like a speed sensing cable... check that out

I started a new thread about the problem...
