3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.
Takes me back to riding a motorbike to work in the Winter when I was a kid. No heated grips or gloves back then.

I do not miss those days one little bit.

Yeah, less than ideal but despite coming up for 60 the rain, wind and cold doesn't really bother me as I have decent kit to keep dry and warm. New gloves en-route. The bus adds about 2hrs to my day and the train similar so I'd rather just bite the bullet and go for it other than snow. The bike offers better flexibility too

Bought myself some heated gloves recently, may have turned a bit wussy as I seem to be wearing them almost every time I go out. Still, went out to the shed last night to be greeted by white stuff on the ground, shouldn't be snowing round here being as it's the sub-tropical paradise of Gwynedd.
Heat is nice.

That's a shame mate though time is a good healer. I had shivers down my spine riding past where I got knocked off a few years ago. No significant injury, claret or breaks though but the bike was a Cat N.

I’m very sorry to read this. I really hope you are on the mend and totally understand how you may not want to return to your bike. Time is, though, a great healer so never say never.

What she said.

I had a bad one many years ago, took a while to stop hitting the brakes every time I saw someone in a cage about to pull out in front of me, but I'm (almost) over it now. Wait till the sun's shining again, you just might feel the urge.
Or not. Up to you, ain't it?

And despite this being a sub-tropical paradise, Snowdonia looks extra fine today with its fresh coat of white. Not going to get too close, mind.
