As above ,had a new screen fitted last year and since there seems to be more water ingress to the cabin( made worse being stood waiting for parts), while waiting for paint to dry yesterday I thought I’d take a look under the plastic panel and see if there was any water underneath as I’d read it’s somewhere the drains can get blockEd
Panel off, didn’t seem overly wet but the Butyl on the panel doesn’t seem to be doing a lot so looking to replace, anyone recommend where to buy and what width?
Also are all the Z’s the same under the panel as ours looked different to some of the pics online and couldn’t see any obvious drain points under the blower motor?

From memory, the drains are difficult (even impossible) to see directly, you'd have to take the bonnet off to get your head in the right position for a direct line of sight. They're on the front-lower edge of the 'basin', about 12-15" apart - only way I can think to describe it. Afaik, their only purpose is to direct water either side of the trans rather than pooling in any recesses on top.

This is a diagram Duncodin did for me last year:

Thanks for the reply John, coincidentally I did replace the panel and Butyl yesterday and found the two drains when the light was better.
As the diagram above they’re fairly large and would take a lot of debris to block them so at least something else ticked off the list!

A lot of debris indeed, which is what I found had clogged mine when I found water coming in through the heater matrix.

Lots of debris which ended up all over my driveway when I finally got the buggers clear! haha. Well done!

They are big but can still get blocked. I cleaned all my scuttle area yesterday as I'm repainting it. Both oval drain holes were completely blocked but not where you can see from above (and I have no bonnet on or wiper arms attached). Mice had made nests in both of mine as they were full of 'woodland' stuff!
