Window one touch feature not functioning

Hello,
My drivers sider window will respond to the up/ down activation only by holding the lever button up-down. There is no one touch aspect.
I don't know if this is a malfunction, because in the manual at page 25 there is a mention that the one touch feature can be activated/ deactivated. If that's the case, how do I activate it?

Try running the window down an d then holding the switch for a few seconds before releasing, then do the same with the upward travel.

ps. The 1 touch only works downwards on my left hand door drop glass.

Tried as you suggested, Works now downward, but not up. Also when I put the top up the window does not go up at the end of the roof cycle.
