Just wondered if anyone had made there own windbreak. Have been looking at them and the price seems quite high at least £100 and more depending on type. Decided to see if can done myself so measured up and found a company to cut me a section of perspex, drilled myself and almost ready to install subject to a suitable fixing to headrest.....cost me £25 so far and a bit of my time.... interested if anyone else done it and how gone....my prototype....learn from this one no doubt.

Made 3 now I think, 2 for chrome hoops, 1 was clear and 1 tinted and the latest one for Schnitzer hoops which is tinted and angled at the bottom so the rear storage compartment can still be used. Much cheaper than buying one. Takes a bit of time measuring and cutting but looks just as good as the ones that are £100 plus.

Thanks for that, I wanted to cut spots in for velcro straps but not very good, just managed to drill so far and thinking plastic ties but don't want to damage headrests

I only drilled holes in mine as I couldn't find a suitable velcro strap. Used grey cable ties to start with as they went the best against the chrome but I now use stainless steel ones as they are invisible against my hoops. If you have black hoops then use black cable ties if your not confident enough to cut slots for velcro straps.
