Wind Deflector

Can anyone tell me if the distance between the posts on a mesh wind deflector are different between a facelift and non facelift ?

Just bought one but the spacing between posts seems to be bigger than my hole (oooo errr missus)

Two types (l believe), 750mm and 700mm. Mine is pre-facelift and is 750mm, if that helps.

I took mine with me when I traded my 97 1.9 and it fitted my 99 facelift perfectly, I didn't think there was any difference? They did change the fixings later from the elastic hooks.

There are two Type 2 deflectors, 750mm and 700mm.
