I have a question that someone might be able to help with.

I've got two wind deflectors and one has a push clip in the centre.

The other doesn't, does that mean it broke?

My next question is, if I fit the wind deflector with the push clip, how do I use my tonneau as I won't be able to push the clips on my tonneau into the tenax screws that sit at the rear of the storage box? How do I clip this in?

I just want to know whether the wind deflector came like from factory and if so, how would I fit the tonneau?

I've never seen a mesh wind deflector with those buttons on Faheem.
They just have the holes in them so you can pop the tenax heads through.
You need the longer tenax screws to be able to secure the tonneau as well.

Thanks Steve. I picked this deflector up for a bargain price and its practically brand new so I'm using it to replace my existing one.

I've figured out that those clips are put there to secure the mesh deflector to the tenax screws in the storage box. However you can't use those push clips if you have a tonneau. Instead you have to remove the clips from the deflector - they just unscrew - and it took me three hours to work that out!!

By the way Steve, I went to ShopNShine in Derby today as per your recommendation and left with my wallet feeling a lot lighter :( The staff and products there are brilliant though.

I don't bother using the clips when I put my tonneau cover on anymore. It stays in place quite happily without.

Haha glad you sussed it mate, I knew you would =)).
Yes Shop N Shine aren't the cheapest but they stock stuff they've tried and tested and don't sell owt that doesn't make the grade and they have high standards. Very helpful young lads in there as you say.
