Wind deflector for non roll hoop cars

Was just looking on eBay and saw this. Not seen them before, but may be of use to someone on here

Seems to me that there is a great big hole underneath it which will allow lots of cold air around the elbows and down to your ankles.
In my experience, the most effective designs create a total screen across the back of both seats - just like the OEM BMW mesh ones

It does make you wonder why they didn't go further down at the back... I have an OEM deflector which is great, but they are generally expensive to come by these days and do require roll hoops
