Up for auction at 10am tomorrow - current bid is £3,000 and it's a 2 owner car with 55k. Spec looks great (it even has cruise control) and the MOT history is good. Be great to see it join the forum

It went for £400 above the reserve so with fees £4,928 - I don't think that's bad for a 2 owner low mileage widebody with a good spec that hasn't been messed about with.

Sorry looks like i posted in haste - the website has subsequently been updated with a hammer price of £6,160 so £6,899 including fees.

The mileage on that is 4 less than mine and I paid a lot less than that 18 months ago (when prices were generally higher). And mine is a super-desirable 3 litre M54. And mine has absolutely no rust anywhere. It was full of water but what Z3 isn't?

Problem with auctions is you can get a bargain one day, but not if others want the same car. Many people think (even nowadays) that it MUST be cheap cos it's at auction. Those days are long gone, mainly thanks to the Bangers and Cash millionaires IMO.
