Have you ever wondered why things cost so much to have them done at a garage? This may help some of you understand a little better, a 2008 Peugeot 308 2.0 Diesel clutch and flywheel replacement. There's very little left of the front of the car when you have to remove, the front subframe, driveshafts, wheel arch liners (always good for the plastic pins that hold them in place - don't break them!), the battery and tray and under support, the airbox and inter cooler boost pipes, all the extra support brackets between the gearbox and engine block. The main plastic under tray and bumper fill panel screws (seized) and plastic pins (same as). Oh, and the subframe extension legs which supports the front bumper and radiator, condenser et al.
You can see the nearside forward subframe mounting point in the top right hand corner of the1st picture, it took me nearly an hour to get these 2 out working them back and forth with a hand ratchet because if you go at them with a windy gun the captive nuts spin in the chassis (much fun). Book time 8.5 hrs,, took me 5 to get all this on the floor. So much easier doing a north/south 3 series 2.0D the other week.
