Which chrome accessories do you have?

Which official BMW chrome accessories is your Z3 sporting?

I'm thinking of adding some "bling" but I don't want to go crazy,.

which accessories look good together in your opinion? What was available from the dealership back in the day? Anybody have any rare items?

I'd be especially interested in any silver z owners opinions and ideas .

On my car I have chrome door handles inside/outside - door lock pins - lights on/off knob - handbreak lever.

My 2.2i has the the chrome interior pack, which is basically most of the small interior parts rings around the dials. Quite subtle, which is good because I don't really like chrome. Externally, just the chrome door handles.

you can also get chrome rings for the heater controls

my car also has chrome door handles (interior) (think these are standard)
and came with a chrome Msport gearknob
and chrome rings around the speedo etc (standard i think)

Mine. Just the gills, door handle surround and gaurds. Oh, and kidney grills of course. Just a bit to break up the sea of black. Nothing in the interior.

Seems like I have the chrome interior pack, including the heater rings, I had no idea this an option. I remember it says "smokers package" in the VIN spec checker but don't recall mention of any chrome... How do the factory chrome door handles (exterior) compare to the ebay type stuck overs? Anyone?

I put chrome plated stainless steel ones on my Z3. The were an eBay buy from Germany at roughly £25, very good quality. Very pleased with them.

ps. Mine also had the chrome pack inc. side gills.

My car came out of the factory with the full factory chrome pack.. all the interior stuff plus exterior door handles, windscreen surround, and a boot lock handle.

Looks striking on my black car.

There is an option for a chrome third brake light and l nearly bought one once but was put off by issues others were having with leaking gasket when light had been removed and replaced. I subsequently found out that facelift cars like mine don't have the gasket so later kicked myself for not getting it as they are fairly rare..

I asked Andy (spurs fan) about one a few years ago but he told me that the forums resident jackdaw had already snaffled it (he knows who he is) I've only ever seen one other for sale. Would've looked the biz on my Oxford Green boot lid too.

Yes they would Alan, but I sold it about a year ago. I have a. Stering Grey Z4 now.
