Which car shampoo next?

Hi all,

Need to get me some new car shampoo as the bottle is almost empty. Been using Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax which seems to do a good enough job. It also smells nice which attracts the bugs to the paintwork as soon as I've cleaned the car.

Any other suggestions before I pop down to Halfrauds and hand over the cash? Will have to be Halfords as I've left it too late to order from the 'net.

I'm trying to use up some Halfords Advanced Car Wash that I bought in a 2 for 1 promotion years ago, seems to do the job.
One 2.5 litre container nearly used, only one more to go.....

I use the Megs NXT shampoo (purple stuff)
It's £15.99 but the Halfrauds website says it's 3 for the price of 2

Half a cap, luke warm water, cleans well, smells good.......and at £6.99 it's not overpriced.

Megs shampoo plus - been using it for 5 years. Good value and works great.

I've used zymol, Autoglym shampoo and Megs ultimate wash n wax.. There all very good..

i use dodo juice basics of bling, cost me £6 for a 500ml tub that has lasted 7 months. Cheap as chips and does a bang up job.

Same here - it doesn't take much to make a bucketful of soapy bubbles. It washes well too

I use fairy liquid after I've washed the chip pan in it. Gives extra greasy shine ;-)

I trust that you use the newer red version, not the original mild green one on your car
