After the trails and tribulations of the car deciding to stop in the outside lane of the A1 sorted and the car fixed after a new camshaft sensor fitted all was well, or so i thought. Today after a run to Sherburn, again the engine light has made another appearance, looks like its the Oxygen sensor after the Cat this time. Does seem as this could be related to the initial fault?

Can’t see a connection between the two at first glance Paul.

Would a ramp or pit make it easier? I can’t remember if it’s on the top or the side.

Its on the side but you have to take a shield off and un clip the old cable which threads to the top of the engine. A lift or pit would be good!

Having replaced Paul's O2 sensor another small issue arose.
This morning Paul came here via Sopers with a new one of these.

This was the problem, an age related rubber part.

Thing was he picked up a butty on the way here, so we had those before work for a change

Thanks again Tony, really enjoy the visits but hopefully next time purely social without a poorly Zed
Big mention for Sopers just mention the forum and you get a discount
Also proves once again don't take e bay prices as better than dealer
Genuine part advertised on E bay £60 Sopers price £38 (after £6 discount)
