Ah, that's only a posh version of my old VW Touareg mate. 
I used to test a few of those at work. Nicest one I did was a Touareg with the V10 engine in. It was nice, just came home from Saudi with it.

Looks the part for the job out there Mike, only one thing better to beat that terrain I reackon which is the Army Ferret Scout Car. Drove 23mls from middle desert to EL-ADDIM in the darkest of night to get a young soldier to RAF med centre after spilling boiling hot water over himself. Got mentioned in dispatches for doing it at night by memory to get us there. The route took us along the outside of a uncleared WW2 mine field and having driven this route escorting the (3 times a week) replenishment convoy for the last 2 months they decided I was the only one who should be able to do it from memory.(in the dark 
)
Of course I thought otherwise cos most days we used the Sun Compass when needed. The next morning after leaving injured soldier when driving back we saw the Ferret wheel tracks the wrong side of the stone mine field markers. I decided to own up to my mistake but still got pat on the back from the sergeant major and got mentioned in dispatches.
When I saw the the young soldier back in Germany months later I told him of our lucky escape and he just laughed and bought me a pint. So I do know how difficult the terrain out there is and the sometimes devastating effects it can have on any vehicle. One trick I did learn out there Mike was to put a canvas water bucket full of warmish water at the start of the journey on the front bumper of a Land Rover and put as many cans of bear as possible in it and after a few miles we could actually have a cool drink in the middle of the desert even at mid day. Hot days and cold nights. Fond memories.
